Threats

The main reasons why Giant Pandas are loosing their habitat is because of conversion of forests to agricultural areas, medicine and herb collection from the forests and mountains, bamboo harvesting, poaching, and a large-scale development such as road construction, hydropower development, and mining. Because of these issues, occuring today, Giant Pandas are loosing their home.
