Population

Today, there are about 1,590-1,600 Giant Pandas living in the wild in China, specifically in Sichuan, northern Shaanxi and northwestern Gansu provinces. Around 180 Giant Pandas are being bred in captivity. Giant Pandas have very low libidos, making them less reproductive, and because of their size, it makes it difficult for them to reproduce.
